George Clooney had his paradise broken into when Italian paparazzi breached his property to score “exclusive” photographs of his new born twins. George and wife Amal are currently staying at the actor’s lavish Lake Como estate in Italy with their new twins, Alexander and Ella. Being keen to keep their babies away from the limelight, they chose to stay in Europe, away from the notorious Hollywood paparazzi. However, the new parents were in for a shock when they were made aware that photographers from an Italian tabloid magazine, Voici, had not only jumped fence, but even taken unauthorized photographs of the twins with their parents.
George Clooney, being the ever cool, calm and collected guy has given the Italian paparazzi a piece of his mind in a statement he made. He’s even threatened legal action, for the sake of the security of his children. In the statement, he said: “Over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home. Make no mistake – the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The safety of our children demands it.”
Voici magazine had allegedly shown a front cover of their upcoming issue to followers, saying: “The very first pictures of the twins in the arms of their parents. Do not miss all our exclusive photos.”
After Clooney’s statement, and legal threat, the magazine has shamelessly issued a statement of their own, justifying their actions. The statement reads: “George and Amal Clooney have been very public personalities for the last few years. Their wedding in Venice, in September 2014, was a very mediatic event; the pictures of them smiling to the public were seen all around the world. The birth of their twins, Ella and Alexander, had also been commented a lot, by themselves and their families. The images published in Voici this Friday are a response to a public demand. People love George Clooney and have been following his life story for years now. Those pictures do not put in danger Mr. Clooney, his wife or his kids.”
Amal and George Clooney’s twins, Ella and Alexander were born on June 6 this year.
