Hollywood FAQs: It was just six months after America actress Mariska Hargitay adopted her second child Amaya Josephine, that there is news that the ‘Ghoulies’ actress has adopted another child, a son Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann.
The actress and her husband Peter Hermann also have their biological son, five-year-old August.
While talking about the reason to rush into adoption, some of the close friends of the couple had said that the boy adopted was a premature child who was born in the US three months back. The source also added that there is just a few months difference between Amaya and Andrew.
The 47-year-old actress and her 44-year-old husband had adopted Amaya in the month of April 2011. Friends of the couple had also added that the hearts of Mariska and Peter became so open after the first adoption that they did not hesitate during the second adoption and brought home the second baby.
