Hollywood FAQs: While spreading magic on the stage of the Good Morning America summer concert, rapper Nicki Minaj had a wardrobe malfunction when her low neck bra accidentally fell off and revealed something she shouldn’t have. Minaj, who was in her Barbie Doll outfit, had by default allowed to show explicit content on live TV.
But the 28-year-old rapper had soon realized the accident and had pull herself back in. Minaj then continued to sing her hits like ‘Super Bass’ and ‘Moment 4 life’.
The explicit content was immediately realized by ABC, who had then acted in a jiffy to erase the portion from the show that was to be broadcasted in other time zones. Later after the show, the singer had tweeted that she was grateful to her team and had thanked GMA for their timely work.
But questions were raised by the conservative media watchdog, Parents Television Council, who had said that explicit content was rolled out on TV in the morning while millions of families watch the television. The PTC had also argued that the apologies by the channel were more than hollow and meaningless. The wardrobe incident at the GMA was considered as the most inappropriate content by the PTC.
