American rapper Chris Brown recently said that he has worked hard to persuade singer Rihanna to forgive him and take him back into her life. This comes despite the fact that he beat her up in the year 2009 and might still be in trouble for the charges in the case.
Popular reports in the media have said that he had been granted an honest interview with the Mirror, in which he apologized and also termed some of his past actions as the biggest mistake of his life . Brown confirmed that it took months of serious making up to win Rihanna back.
The singer said, “But she loves me — what can I say? I’m forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it”. The 23-year-old was talking at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar watching party on Sunday. The ‘Next To You’ singer added that he has now grown up and learnt to handle fame better. He also said that he is now able to laugh off several questionable remarks which are hurled at him and Rihanna, now that they have gotten back together.
At the Oscars, the host Seth MacFarlane compared the violent best-picture nominee ‘Django Unchained’ to the date night of Rihanna and Chris Brown.
