Alec Baldwin is in trouble yet again. The 54-year-old star of ’30 Rock’ is being investigated by The New York Police Department (NYPD) for an alleged hate crime, according to reports on February 19, 2013.
The actor had a run-in outside of his East Village home, with a New York Post reporter and a photographer over the weekend, when they tried to ask questions regarding his wife and yoga instructor, Hilaria Baldwin. Both the reporter Tara Palmeri and the photographer G.N. Miller got a taste of Baldwin’s infamous bad temper. He reportedly told Palmeri he wants her to choke to death and fired racial slurs at Miller, a retired NYPD officer, who is African-American.
The ‘Rock of Ages’ actor took to Twitter to give his explanation of the event, but has deleted the Tweets since. Instead he gave a statement to Gothamist, denying everything and calling the accusations ‘outrageous’. In the meantime, Baldwin filled a harassment complaint on February 18, 2013 and Miller filed a cross-complaint later, as the police look into the allegations.
New drama comes after some very happy news for the ‘To Rome With Love’ star as he looks forward to the birth of his child in 2013. The actor expressed his desire to be a stay-at-home dad as well.
