After weeks of speculation surrounding rumours of a second pregnancy for Jessica Simpson, on December 25, 2012 the singer-cum-actor confirmed the news herself on Twitter, where a photo of her 7-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew was posted with the words ‘Big Sis’ written in front of her.
Simpson has been engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson for two years and on May 1, 2012, the happy couple was blessed with beautiful Maxwell. The speculation about Simpson’s second pregnancy started in November 2012, as it was noticed that the fashion entrepreneur was wearing looser clothes, or was hiding her stomach with large bags. Even during the marriage of her best friend CaCee Cobb with actor Donald Faison (where Simpson was the maid of honor), she strategically placed a large bouquet of red roses in front of her as she walked the aisle to hide her baby bump.
The ‘Irresistible’ singers second pregnancy was not planned, as she had recently lost 60 pounds of weight after the birth of Maxwell, but now with another baby on the way, the ‘To Fall In Love Again’ singer is overjoyed and is found to always be smiling whenever she is asked about her babies.
With the latest round of good news it remains to be seen what path the ‘I Wanna Love You Forever’ singer is going to take career-wise.
