It hardly seems believable that 24-year-old Benny Blanco is the man behind some of the world’s biggest hits in recent times. The multi-platinum award winning songwriter has written and produced over 13 number 1 singles, some of which include chart-busting hits such as ‘Tik Tok’, ‘Moves Like Jagger’, ‘Dynamite’, ‘Teenage Dream’ and ‘California Gurls’.
Currently the young ‘hitmaker’ has two songs in the top 10 of the Billboard singles charts. He is the co-producer on Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’, which is the first single of her ‘Unapologetic’ album, which is to be released soon. He has also worked with Ke$ha on ‘Die Young’, as he enjoys yet another successful single.
By working with some of the top producers in the pop music industry such as Stargate and Dr. Luke, Benny has managed to reach places others can only dream of.
Much of the young songwriter’s success is possibly due to the fact that his musical influences are very diverse. He has managed to use influences such as country, hip-hop and dance and fuse it together with pop music, to create something with an edge that not many can deny.
Blanco has managed to make a name for himself in the often brutal pop music industry and considering his age, he is set to become one of the greatest pop-hit songwriters ever.
