Hollywood FAQs: American game show host Jeff Probst recently got married to Lisa Ann Russell. The ‘Survivor’ host married Ann Russell amidst close friends and family members in a private ceremony. The spokesperson for the couple announced that the two got married on December 5, 2011 in Los Angeles at their residence. The 49-year-old actor wasn’t live on Twitter for a while between November 30 and December 7.
On December 7, he told his fans that he will not be live on the social networking site saying , “I have a personal commitment that I can’t break. Back next week with double the buffs….”. This is the second marriage for both Russell and Probst. The 40-year-old actress was earlier married to Mark-Paul Gossellar and also shares the custody of her two children with her ex. Ann’s divorce was finalized in the month of May 2011. The rumours of the two dating started surfacing following her divorce.
From the year 1996 to 2001, Probst was married to Shelly Wright. From 2004 to 2008, the host dated Julie Berry, who finished in the fifth place on the game show. The Finale of the ‘Survivor: South Pacific’ will be telecasted on December 18, 2011. The host is now all set to launch his own talk show that will debut in 2012.
Ann’s ex Gosselaar has now got engaged to advertising executive Catriona McGann. Before hosting the popular reality show ‘Survivor’, Jeff also hosted FX network’s half an hour show which was dedicated in answering the viewer letters ‘Backchat’ along with sound FX. Jeff has also hosted the VH1 series ‘Rock & Roll Jeopardy’ from the year 1998 to 2001. The host was also a correspondent for the syndicated program ‘Access Hollywood’. In 2001, Jeff was named as the ’50 Most Beautiful People’, by People magazine.
