There’s nothing more special than being able to celebrate your birthday with your loved one. So when Cameron Diaz celebrated hers on August 31, husband Benji Madden was right there, and not afraid to show the world how much he’s still in love with her.
The Good Charlotte rocker posted an image of himself and Diaz on a boat and his caption is so romantic. He said in the post: “Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife. I feel like I am the LUCKIEST guy ALIVE. I don’t think anyone could ever know the Depth, Kindness and Compassion that I get to experience everyday thanks to My One and Only – You got me til the end baby.”
The couple are pretty low key, even though Cameron Diaz is probably one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood. The couple never really knew each other, though it was Nicole Richie who had introduced them with her husband and Benji’s twin brother and bandmate, Joel Madden. When they do talk about each other, there’s only love and good things to say. Benji had even gotten a tattoo of Cameron’s name on his chest soon after their marriage.
The two had a whirlwind romance that only lasted a couple of months and married on January 5, 2015. Cameron Diaz had once said of her husband, “One of my favorite things about being married, is how much pride I take in my husband… He makes me proud everyday… One day it might be how generous and giving he is, another how gentle and thoughtful. Or when he is fiercely protective of the people he loves and cares about… And every single day I am so incredibly proud of his integrity as a human being.”
