The epitome of grace and beauty, Celine Dion recently did something that she has never done before – pose nude. The French-Canadian songstress looked like a million bucks in a post by Vogue on Instagram. The 49-year-old is seen posing on a chair without anything on, and clutching a white dress. At her feet lay a pair of sparkling gold boots. The image was captioned by the international fashion magazine:
“Here’s a little naked fact to ponder while Celine Dion changes looks between shows: for the past five years she has worn haute couture near exclusively for her own performances (in Las Vegas and on her current ‘mini-tour’ of Europe).”
“In Vegas, Velcro panels are added to allow for her ribcage to expand or for a quick outfit change. Micro straps of elasticized chiffon prevent a slit from becoming a sloppy situation mid-squat. Shoes – always heels, never platforms – are ordered one size smaller (she is normally a 38) and refitted with metal shanks.”
The mother of three children is currently touring Europe after a gruelling long-term residential show schedule at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. After losing both her husband and brother, she seems stronger than ever and continues to inspire and entertain crowds all over the world. The diva spoke about her sense of fashion, saying: “The clothes follow me; I do not follow the clothes.”
