Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem and Orlando Bloom attend premiere at Disneyland Shanghai

The fifth instalment to the hit Disney pirate franchise is here! The premiere for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales premiered at Disneyland Shanghai. Lead stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Javier Bardem hit the red carpet and interacted with ecstatic fans.

POTC continues the story on the high seas. Capitan Salazar is the new villain, back for blood of the elusive Captain Jack Sparrow. But the eccentric rum drinking Captain has old friends to come fight for the retrieval of the Poseidon that allows its holder to rule over the oceans of the world. Johnny Depp returns as Captain Jack Sparrow while Javier Bardem plays Capitan Salazar. Orlando Bloom resumes his role taken over from Davy Jones, as Will Turner. Keira Knightley also makes a special appearance as Elizabeth Swann. The swashbuckling flick introduces new characters, including a young astronomer and Will and Elizabeth’s son.

This is a much-awaited return of the beloved franchise, that took years in the making. It is already estimated that the film will top the box office. POTC is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Joachim Rønning.
