Since the Internet is a free place for people to talk what they will, some trolls have taken the leeway and trolled Lady Gaga for her body, of all things. The Super Bowl Halftime Show 2017 will go down in history as being one of the most entertaining ones in our lifetime. Taking the stage for over 13 minutes, Gaga wowed audiences with her charisma, talent and penchant for the extreme. Her time on the stage was so epic that she garnered over 1.5 million tweets that night. Many of her contemporaries from the industry, fans and viewers alike all had praises, except of course, the trolls.
Twitter trolls said nasty things about Gaga’s stomach, that wasn’t flat, and showed a little bulge from above her tiny white shorts and below her crop top. Instead of enjoying the performance, they concentrated on something that shouldn’t have even been a subject matter.

Lady Gaga needs to do some crunches if she wants to show her flabby belly.
Another said:
Tried to enjoy @ladygaga’s performance, was distracted by the flab on her stomach swinging around #SuperBowl
And still another said:
Was waiting for a surprise guest but just got Lady Gaga’s gut.
Absolutely mean, uncalled for and completely sexist for someone who should be known for her talent and on-stage persona, rather than what she physically looks like. Such soulless trolls are quick to shame any woman who weighs slightly above Size 0, and who doesn’t have a career and achievements for her body!
In turn, Lady Gaga took to Instagram with an image of herself, and in the caption, she very classily shut down the trolls.
I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don’t need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you.
