If you’re wondering who’s going to break the Internet in 2017, it belongs to Beyoncé. In a post on Instagram, the Hold Up singer announced that she is pregnant with twins, no less. The image shows the star kneeling in lingerie with an ice green veil amid blossoming flowers that encircle her head and are strewn about her. Her abundant belly also confirms the happy news. She captioned the image: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”
Within the hour since the posting, she has got over 2.5 million likes and counting, and this has become the only topic that everybody seems to be talking about.
She and husband Jay-Z, the rapper extraordinaire must be over the moon to be receiving this abundant addition to the family. It’s a blessing twice over.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are already parents to five-year-old Blue Ivy Carter and are proud to show her off, whether it’s on stages while on tour, or tagging her along on the red carpet, garbed in custom made clothing from some of the biggest fashion houses out there. Conceiving has been difficult for the Drunk In Love pair, who earlier miscarried a baby after five months of pregnancy. But things are just looking up and up for the couple, because they will soon be proud parents to three gorgeous children.
The singer has kept mum about her pregnancy, and no one had any inclination about it until this official announcement was made. No doubt the media is going to go into a frenzy in the next couple of weeks, and months leading up to the birth of the future heirs of the Carter empire.
