Hollywood FAQs: The new season of the reality show Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) has been announced. The celebrities who will be participating on the 13th season of the celebrity dance show have finally been revealed for 2011.
The 13th season of the show will have not so famous celebrities like Kristin Cavallari, Ron Artest, 28-year-old Iraq war veteran JR Martinez, Italian actress and model Elisabetta Canalis, Courtney Cox’s ex-husband David Arquette and musician Chaz Bono.
The other stars on the DWTS 2011 show also include Nancy Grace, Ron Kardashian – the little brother of Kim Kardashian, US women’s soccer goal keeper Hope Solo, Ricki Lake and Carson Kressley. DWTS has always brought together a bunch of celebrities who are yet to plant themselves with a proper foundation in showbiz or sports and this 2011 show is sure to see a good blend of celebs.
No matter what the popularity of the celebrities say, it does not have any affect on the popularity of the show. The popularity of Dancing With the Stars has always been steady and high. Last year, the show had the third highest rating and had lost to American Idol and Sunday Night Football. Meanwhile the professional dancer who will be accompanying the celebrities will be announced on 31st August 2011.
