Hollywood FAQs: It is celebration time for the American singer Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, as they are soon going to welcome a new family member. The ‘Dream Girls’ actress announced the news at the 2011 MTV VMA awards on Sunday.
Beyonce teased fans and photographers while she held her baby bump and posed for pictures at the event. The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer also gave an indication of her pregnancy during her performance as she rubbed her tummy on the stage.
It was only later when the representative of the singer announced that the singer is expecting her first baby with her husband Jay-Z. This will be the first child for Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Beyonce had happily posed for pictures holding her baby bump in an orange gown. Close friends of the couple have said that they are super happy and Jay is excited like a kid.
Jay and Beyonce have been married for three years. The friends have also revealed that the ‘Pink Panther’ actress was never so happy before as she is now. While the singer was performing on stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, she had addressed the crowd to stand up and feel the love that is growing inside her.
In an exclusive interview with People magazine, the rep of the ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ actress reacted to the pregnancy news and said, “I’m happy to say it’s true.”
The 29-year-old beauty is all set to celebrate her 30th birthday on September 4. Seems like there is going to be lots to celebrate, eh Beyonce?
Q. What are some of Beyonce’s noteworthy accomplishments?
A. Beyonce Knowles is one of top female artists ion the world of music and she has won several Grammy Awards (13 in all as a solo artist and 3 while she was in ‘Destiny’s Child’). Knowles is also been awarded 2 Golden Globe nominations for her fabulous performance in Dream Girls (2006). She is considered to be one of the best-selling artists of all time.
