Desperate Housewives Star Eva Longoria decides to become a wife again.
They say marriages are made in heaven and that is what all Eva Longoria fans will be hoping for this time as the Hollywood diva tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and fiancée, Jose Pepe Baston, in a star studded ceremony at the romantic location of Valle de Bravo, Mexico. Eva looked fabulous and was smiling all the way to the altar as she prepared to take vows with her partner.
Celebrity marriages tend to have a glittering guest list and this one too featured some prominent Hollywood names that included Longoria’s best friend and former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham, accompanied by her footballer husband David Beckham. Victoria was also the one to have designed the wedding gown, a gorgeous white one, for this special occasion. Among the other stars to have graced this destination wedding were Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Katy Perry, Felicity Huffman and Melanie Griffith.
The lovebirds were engaged last year in Dubai and had been with each other for three years now. Jose, who is nicknamed Pepe, is the President and Director of Televisa, one of the biggest media houses in the Latin American Entertainment industry. Jose is also a philanthropist, which might have been one of the reasons that swept Eva off her feet, as Longoria herself is a passionate believer of philanthropy and supports various non-profit organizations.
The wedding reception featured a special performance by band Pro Down who are a group of special musicians. There was a surprise in store for Eva as her former Desperate Housewives co-star Vanessa Williams performed “Save The Best For Last” at the end of the ceremony. The couple are set to be on honeymoon till June 9th.
This is Longoria’s third marriage as she was previously hitched to French NBA star Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010 and also to Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004. Wishing a happy married life to the newlyweds.
