Calvin Harris, one of the most popular DJs around was involved in a serious automobile accident on Friday in Los Angeles. The 32 year old Scott was rushed to St Joseph medical facility with a somewhat bloody face, as his forehead had suffered a minor cut after the 11 p.m. incident. As expected with a celebrity car accident, celebrity gossip followers thronged all over the internet trying to get as much information about the accident as they could.
According to the police, the accident happened when a 16 year old teenage girl driving a red Volkswagen beetle hit Calvin’s Black SUV from the side, near the front wheel on the left. Calvin can indeed count himself very lucky, since it would have been a different story had the SUV been hit right at the left door. The young girl’s VW appeared to have a badly smashed hood, and a bumper that was left hanging, with front number plates folded in two. Although she did not suffer a life threatening injury, her other teenage colleague, whom she was carrying suffered a broken hip. However, they’re both said to be in stable condition and in no danger.

According to reliable reports, Calvin then a passenger in his SUV was on his way to Omnia for his popular Friday night show, but had to cancel it. Instead, he had to make do with a trip to hospital as fate would have it. After being treated for the minor injury, the doctors recommended that he ought to spend the night in hospital for deeper observations. However, he would have none of that and defied doctor’s orders by unceremoniously leaving the hospital. Apparently, it was later on discovered that the DJ refused to spend the night at St Joseph Medical Center for the sole reason that he wouldn’t be accorded a private room.
While still at the hospital, Calvin informed her girlfriend Taylor swift of the terrible incident via a phone call. This drove her into a big panic but the DJ calmed her down, telling her that he just had a minor scrape on the face, and was okay. Although she had offered to come over at the hospital, Calvin told her it was not necessary as he did not want her to make a big deal out of it.
Calvin’s well wishers are all wishing him quick recovery, and looking forward to seeing him perform sooner, rather than later.
