British Formula One Driver Jenson Button has parted ways from his wife Jessica after one year of marriage. The two got married in a lavish wedding ceremony in Hawaii in 2014. The couple says that their relationship has come to an end but still remain in good terms.
The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of Jenson who said, ‘Jenson and Jessica have decided to go their separate ways and it is very amicable. There is no one else involved.’ The 35 year old Formula One driver and fashion model Jessica first met at a hotel bar in Tokyo and began dating eight months later.
During courtship, the couple faced several ups and downs in their relationships and also split for a short time in 2011. The McLaren star proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2014 with a ring costing $250,000. Jenson had recently revealed how the two were not living together like married couples due to their busy careers.
In an interview the British racer confessed, ‘We don’t see each other any more than before we were married’. Jessica lives with her mother in a modest flat in Tokyo while the sportsman lives in Monaco. Sources have revealed that the two did not have any financial arrangements before their marriage.
