HBO launches on StarHub’s online streaming services

StarHub and HBO Asia have introduced two initiatives in an attempt to take HBO’s content across various digital platforms through StarHub’s new online streaming service known as StarHub Go. The premium proprietary content of HBO includes its Game Thrones series which will be directly available to the consumers in Singapore without the need of the Pay-TV subscription.

The subscribers need to have an internet connection with a monthly subscription to StarHub Go’s Premium Pack to get instant access for streaming a catalogue of HBO and Cinemax Originals, anytime and anywhere with multiple devices. At the launch, the subscribers will have able to have access to more than 300 hours of HBO and Cinemax Original series and films.
The content in the catalogue increases every week and is expected to reach 1,000 hours by year-end with more series and films to be added along with the documentaries and specials by HBO. The Go Premium Pack of StarHub Go is available for SGD 19.90 per months and will offer a mix of HBO and CInemax Originals with the latest Asian entertainment content.
The subscribers, who sign up, up to September 30, 2015 will be charged the promotional price of SGD 1.99 per month for three months.
