American country music artist Jake Owen and wife Lacey Buchanan have released a joint statement to announce that they have decided to part ways. The couple, have been married Lacey on May 7, 2012 at Florida and have decided to call it quits after three years of marriage.
Lacy and Buchanan have a daughter Oliver Pearl, who was born on November 22, 2012. The statement said, “I wanted to let my fans know how much I’ve appreciated their support of not only my career, but my family as a whole.” The couple added that they have decided to end their marriage and will be focusing on their daughter Pearl an d make sure that she has a great life with loving parents.
Lacey and Jake also appealed to respect their privacy. The announcement was made on the micro blogging site Twitter by Jake, who said that the decision to break-up was the hardest thing ever. Jake met Lacey when she appeared on his videos for ‘8 Second Ride’ and ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’.
The couple got engaged on April 7, 2012 when Owen proposed to Buchanan on the stage in front of the crowd in Vero Beach, Florida. Jake shot to fame with the release of his debut single ‘Yee Haw’.
