Hollywood FAQs: Hollywood star Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame has revealed some of his personal problems in a recent interview. In an interview with the UK’s GQ, the actor revealed that has been dealing with an alcohol problem for the past 2 years.
Radcliffe said that he had started to drink whiskey on the sets of the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in the year 2009. Soon he had realized that he was too much used to alcohol and was slowly getting used to it.
The actor stated that he had begun to live a lifestyle of a popular person, which did not suit him at all. The Harry Potter star said that he had managed to avoid the paparazzi, as there was always a risk of getting caught.
Radcliffe was however happy about the fact that he had realized the wrong path he was going in to pretty early, unlike the rest of the stars, who realize it pretty late and end up regretting. The actor came to know about his addiction when he had completed the shooting for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Radcliffe said that he had realized that it wasn’t bad spending a simple life by staying at home.
