Hollywood FAQs: Kim Kardashian is in the news again! Not only because of her upcoming wedding plans, but this time there are reports making the rounds that the ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star allegedly cheated on her boyfriend with a little known Bret Lockett. Kim hasn’t taken this too well, and has not only denied this news, but is also planning legal action if the magazine which reported the news – ‘InTouch Weekly’ – doesn’t back down from the story.
Lockett alleges that Kim and he were in a 5 month relationship while she was dating her current boyfriend Kris Humphries. He told TMZ that he got her number from her friend Lauren London and the reality star messaged him several times, and even begged him for a ‘sexy picture’. He added that he has all the physical proof to show that they had a relationship.
Kim took to her blog and expressed her disgust over the news. She wrote, “This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story just to get attention!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated.”
The reality star added, “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… don’t believe everything you read. The tabloids and weekly magazines will do ANYTHING to sell copies, and in this case they decided to run a false story, knowing they had absolutely no proof that it was real. It’s disgusting, and I will be taking legal action against In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett.”
So did Kim really have a relationship with wannabe RnB star Bret Lockett or is this a way to get some publicity for his music career? Time will tell for sure.
