American singer and songwriter Tamar Braxton and husband Vincent Herbert are now proud parents of a baby boy. The news was announced by Braxton through social networking site Twitter on June 6, 2013. The post included a picture of three blue teddy bears surrounded by sunflowers and balloons with caption, “He’s here!”
The new parents have not yet announced any additional details about the new family member, including the baby’s name. The 36-year-old singer announced that she was expecting a baby during the couple’s joint appearance Good Morning America in March 2013. The couple hosted a baby shower at the Bel-Air Hotel in L.A. on May 5, 2013 and the singer revealed that she had a great pregnancy.
The soon-to-be-mom said at the time that she has a lot of energy and that she is always upbeat and everyone has to tell her to sit down somewhere. While talking about her cravings, the singer said that she loved potato chips during pregnancy. She also said that her siblings had given her plenty of parenting advice. On the other hand, her husband Vincent said that he is elated to be starting a family with Braxton. The couple got hitched 2008 and this is their first child together.
