British actor Tom Hardy will soon be seen playing Elton John in an upcoming biopic movie. ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ star is the top contender to play Sir Elton John in a movie which will be based on the legendary singer’s life, called ‘Rocketman’.
The movie will be depicting the 66-year-old’s colorful life. Initially, Justin Timberlake was considered for the role, but now recent reports have said that the producer, Elton John himself, has changed his mind and wants Hardy on board. This is not the first time Hardy has been roped in to star in a biopic.
In one of his previous movies, the actor beefed up and shaved his head to portray the most notorious prisoner of Britain, Charles Bronson. However, this time the ‘Inception’ star has to get in touch with his feminine side to play a flamboyant musician in the biographical musical fantasy movie.
