American singer Chris Brown might be in trouble as he gave false insurance information, which breaks his terms of probation. The ‘With You’ star can even face imprisonment up to four years. Brown could face jail over a minor car accident.
Investigation is being carried out by the officials, determining if the singer actually violated the terms of his probation last week, after he hit another vehicle in Los Angeles. Gossip websites state that LA is looking into the claim that Brown refused to co-operate with the victim of a minor car crash on May 21, 2013.
The ‘Turn Up The Music’ star was reluctant and refused to hand over his insurance details or driving permit number. The website went on to say that the 24-year-old also displayed an attitude when the woman pressed him for his information. When the singer finally gave in and it seemed like he was willing to co-operate, he in fact gave false information.
Brown is still under probation for his 2009 assault against Rihanna. Reports state that if he refuses to disclose any information, that would be considered as a breach of his probation terms and he could face up to four years in jail.
