American R&B singer Mariah Carey has suffered a wardrobe malfunction on Good Morning America show on May 24, 2013. Carey was being interviewed on the show when she suddenly realized that her dress ripped from behind.
Carey was with anchor Lara Spencer on the stage in Central Park. The American Idol judge hopped on stage and sang her first song, as part of the summer concert series for the show and then began to chat with Spencer when her dressed suddenly ripped from behind.
Despite the awkward moment, the singer was calm enough to turn around and show the audience what had happened. Mariah was wearing a body-hugging gown which opened halfway down her back. Carey said, “Oh shoot, the back of my dress just popped!” “What should we call this? The Central Park saga?” The anchor said, “I dare say this is a TV moment.”
Soon after this unfortunate incident, handlers of the singer rushed to fix the broken zipper. While the glitch was being fixed, the star did not stop talking and joked that she will just hold them up the whole time.
