American actress Eva Longoria has proved that she is not just a pretty face, as she earned her Master’s degree from the Cal State Northridge on May 23, 2013. The actress posed for photos with her family and fellow graduates before and after the ceremony.
The 38-year-old star tweeted, “Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master’s degree in Chicano Studies!” Longoria added, “You’re never too old or too busy to continue your education!” Moreover, the actress also holds a bachelor degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University and began her master’s studies three years ago, while she was working on the show ‘Desperate Housewives’.
Earlier in May 2013, the actress said that she was finishing her thesis. Reports said that the title of her thesis was “Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers.” Soon after the news broke, friends of the actress quickly congratulated her on Twitter.
Now the actress is one happy graduate and said that she had plenty of support from her family and friends.
