As the British boy band One Direction is all set to release their 3D feature film ‘This Is Us’ on August 30, 2013, the band will also release a new book, which will show their journey towards stardom. The boys will be launching ‘One Direction: Where We Are’, to be released through HarperCollins, on August 27, 2013.
One Direction made the book announcement on May 22, 2013. The official book description reads, “This is the only official book from 1D charting their journey over the last year and a half — from the places they’ve visited and fans they’ve met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows”.
The book also has a subtitle which says, “Our Band, Our Story: 100% Official” and is 240 pages long and will be available for $21.99. Many will find the title ‘Where We Are’ familiar and that is because it is also the title of the band’s 2014 stadium tour.
The first dates of the tour were released last week and the group’s 2013 North American tour is all set to begin on June 13, 2013 and will include a massive partnership with Nabisco and brands like Chips Ahoy, Oreo, Trident and Ritz, who will be their sponsors.
