American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has a huge fan following. One of her fans was arrested near her beach front home after he was reportedly swimming up to her property with the intention to meet the singer. The fan has been identified as a 22-year-old male who was taken into custody for trespassing.
The fan was found trespassing during the early hours of the morning after he admitted that he swam up to the singer’s Rhode Island abode. A US-based gossip website said that the police official spotted the unknown man getting out of the ocean, about one mile from the singer’s home at around 2:20 am.
The over-enthusiastic fan reportedly admitted that he wanted to get closer to Taylor. When the man was questioned by the police he said that he had just completed the swim in which he had intended to meet her. Sources have revealed that the man was from Chicago area and said that he swam to Taylor’s beach before he headed back after spotting her security team.
The trip was about two miles round and the Westerly Police Department said that they have discussed this issue with the star’s security team while admitting that they were taking the matter very seriously.
