Eyewitnesses revealed that Kate Middleton was spotted on a short shopping spree while showing off her baby bump. The royal was seen shopping at the upmarket area of Chelsea in London. Pregnant Kate most likely visited Lots Road, which is known for stocking vintage and contemporary furniture and home wear.
Seems like the Duchess is slowly gathering things for her new Kensington house. Some insiders revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge purchased a rug at one of the stores in the street, while bystanders took to their Twitter accounts to express their delight as they saw Middleton passing by.
Reports also said that the new purchase could be for her new home in London, apartment A1 of Kensington Palace, which is being renovated at the moment and is expected to be ready in the summer of 2013. However, this is not the first time Kate has been seen shopping for interior stuff. Back in April 2013, the Duchess was seen shopping for antiques at Mews Antique Emporium.
Kate Middleton can be often spotted in tiny antique stores while sourcing furnishings for the royal nursery and two homes. More reports say that Middleton is planning a £1 million makeover of her planned nursery at the London home of the couple.
