Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were supposed to appear in court for their divorce hearing on April 12, 2013, however things did not turn out as planned. While Kim appeared with ten security guards, Kris decided to skip the hearing and could be in trouble as a result.
It has been a while since Kim and Kris have been physically separated, but Kim is still trying to get a divorce from the football star. At present, the two are in the pretrial stages of the court process. The socialite turned up in court and was seen dressed in formals.
On the other hand, Kris skipped the court date, which was apparently mandatory and the judge was not happy with this. Reports say that Kris had missed his flight out of New York and could not take another one to make it to the 8:30 am court hearing.
There are chances that Judge Goldberg might fine the footballer for his non-attendance, but that might not bother Kris too much, as he is wealthy enough to pay any fines that are thrown at him. This would have also been the first time that Kardashian would have to face her ex, since they split in the year 2011. The next date for the hearing is set to be April 19, 2013.
