There were rumours that American actress Jada Pinkett Smith had an open relationship with husband Will Smith. The ‘Madagaskar’ star, while addressing the rumours, said that this was the most persistent rumor that has dogged the couple in their 16-year marriage.
Mrs Smith was asked if the rumours about her open marriage were true, to which she said, “I think, no, I think people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another and I think because, from how I’ve answered questions”. The actress also talked about how she deals with other women when it comes to being married to a superstar.
Jada, while talking further on the issue, said that she has always told her husband that he could do whatever he wants, as long as he can look at himself in the mirror and be comfortable with himself. ‘The Karate Kid’ actress added that at the end of the day Will is his own man and that she is his partner.
The ‘Hawthorne’ actress explained that people need to get into a marriage to know what a life partnership is. In the year 2011, Jada fought rumours that their marriage was on the rocks and added that Will is her best friend.
