Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who won an award for her outstanding role of a young widow in the movie ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, has put her clothes up for auction on February 26, 2013. The clothes of the actress from the movie have been put up just two days after the Academy Awards ceremony.
Nate D. Sanders, the memorabilia dealer has put up the skin-tight white dance pants, sports bra and winter coat which Lawrence wore in the movie for sale in the online auction. The auction has been schedule to end on February 28, 2013. The items which have been put up for auction are expected to fetch between $500 and $1,500, especially after the Oscar win for the actress on February 24, 2013.
Laura Yntema, the spokesperson for auction house Nate D. Sanders said, “She’s now on the record for having an Academy Award, which definitely gives it (the items) status now”. Jennifer has earlier also won awards from the Golden Globe and Screen Actor’s Guild in the month of January 2013, for her performance in ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. Five items have been put up for auction and the bid begins from $100.The auction will also include items which were worn by Jennifer’s co–star Bradley Cooper.
