American socialite Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West’s child and was desperately trying to finalize her divorce with ex-husband Kris Humphries. Now, a judge has set the date for the star’s divorce proceedings to take place on May 6, 2013.
Kim was in a hurry to finalize her divorce with Kris, as she is expecting her baby in the month of July 2013. The divorce papers were filed by Kardashian on October 31, 2011, after just 27 day of being married to Kris. The star-studded, high-profile wedding was recorded and broadcast by E! Entertainment Television.
The divorce trial is expected to last for three to five days. During this period, it is expected that there could be many monitory revelations from the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star. The court date was finalized after two judges decided that Humphries’ layers had adequate time to prepare for proceedings.
Humphries wanted to claim that Kardashian had married him just for the sake of her show. On the other hand, Kim has denied the allegation and said that the case should be resolved smoothly, in what would be her second divorce. Marshall Waller, Humphries’ attorney has asked for a delay in the trial until the basketball season is over.
