After following Jobs’ diet consisting of mostly fruit, Kutcher had to be admitted to a hospital, due to a problem with his pancreas. This coincidentally was the cause of Jobs’ death. The technology icon passed away due to pancreatic cancer in 2011.

In reality, Kutcher is extremely passionate about the digital world and considers the late tech wizard to be his role model. The actor from ‘That 70’s Show’ is becoming a major investor in Silicon Valley after his prominent investments in Skype and Foursquare.

The film, directed by Joshua Michael Stern, also stars Josh Gad as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and will hit theaters on April 19, 2013, via Open Road. The film follows Jobs’ early life and career and his transition from a college drop out to someone who created history in the world of technology. The film focuses on his development of the Macintosh personal computer and the iPod.

The 34-year-old actor did not stop at just following his diet to bring perfection and do justice to the role, he also watched many hours of footage and presentations involving Steve.
