X-Men movies are always a much anticipated, as are the characters that make up the basis of the storyline. The initial trilogy revolved around Hugh Jackman’s mutant character Wolverine and was well received by audiences. Talks are now doing the rounds that the Australian actor may be considering another movie in the X-Men series called X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Director Bryan Singer is said to be directing the new venture, which is to be a sequel to X-Men: First Class. X-Men: First Class was a follow up to the initial X-Men trilogy that had Wolverine in a pivotal role.
There have been a slew of X-Men movies in the past and things can get a little confusing the say the least. Brett Ratner has directed X-Men: The Last Stand, as well as some work with X-Men: Origins. Singer has worked on X-Men and X2. Hugh Jackman has also starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the unreleased – The Wolverine.
It’s possible that Jackman would want to do this movie so that he can get a chance to work with some of the actors that started off the franchise initially, including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Other actors that are set to work on the movie are Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Fassbender.
