Gabriel Aubry, who is Hollywood star Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend was arrested on charges pertaining to battery on November 22, 2012. According to police, Aubry got into a fight with the Oscar winning actress’ current boyfriend in Hollywood Hills.
Aubry is scheduled to appear in court on December 13, 2012 and was booked for investigation of a misdemeanor and battery. He was released on a USD 20,000 bail according to jail records online. According to Los Angeles Police Officer Julie Boyer, Aubry came to the ‘Monster’s Ball’ actress’ home on Thanksgiving morning and police were called in due to an assault alert.
The ‘X-Men’ star’s ex-boyfriend was then treated at a hospital before he was released. Gary Fishbein, who is Aubry’s family law attorney, did not respond to emails at the time. Even Meredith O’Sullivan who is the ‘Dark Tide’ actress’ publicist did not return emails immediately.
Aubry and Berry have a 4-year-old daughter name Nahla and the former couple has been battling it out in court over a custody dispute for the little one. However, as the couple was not married, court proceedings have been sealed. Neither side has commented on the outcome of the case, but they did visit the courts as recently as November 9, 2012.
Of late French actor Olivier Martinez has been dating Halle and they have even gotten engaged earlier this year according to him.
