1. A Christmas Story – Ralphie wants a Red Ryder BB gun, but his parents keep telling him that it is too dangerous. This one is great to watch with the whole family.
2. Love Actually – This movie is one of the best written Christmas comedies in decades. The flick has Hugh Grant in the role of the British Prime Minister and Keira Knightly as a new bride, while describing various aspects of love in 10 separate narratives, with some characters having interlinked stories.
3. Elf – This movie stars Will Ferrell, who is being raised by Santa and thinks that he is an Elf. He finds it tough to adjust to the real world after Santa’s unique upbringing.
4. Scrooged – This Hollywood flick stars Bill Murray and revolves around his hatred for Christmas and everything associated with the holiday. The movie is a modern retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
5. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – One of the funniest moments in this adventure-comedy is when the squirrel comes flying down the tree. This movie is great fun to watch with the kids as well.
