Hollywood stars are braving Superstorm Sandy in unique ways. Russell Crowe, who plays ‘Noah’ in his latest movie of the same name, took a break from shooting the flick to enjoy a cup of Yorkshire tea.
The ‘A Beautiful Mind’ star tweeted “Found Yorkshire tea at Myers of Keswick on Hudson Street, NY. Teapot and 1953 coronation cup. Aah Tea, it’s the ritual perfect for Hurricanes”. When a follower suggested that the mixture should not be made out of an urn, the star agreed, and replied saying that one should not buy it from a cafe either, and that the tea has to be brewed correctly from a kettle to a pot to a cup.
The Australian actor is currently filming the biblical story of Noah, which is being directed by Darren Aronofsky.
Russell was not the only one from the movie who was active on twitter, his co-star Emma Watson also compared their film to real life. The ‘Harry Potter’ star tweeted “I take it that the irony of a massive storm holding up the production of Noah is not lost @DarrenAronofsky @russellcrowe”.
Looks like the stars of the Biblical flick are getting some good off-set experience for the movie as well.
