Hollywood FAQs: German-American model and actress, Heidi Klum has recently filed for divorce from singer Seal. The publicist of the supermodel said that the divorce has been filed after almost three months of separation.
The model filed for divorce on April 6, 2012 in Los Angeles and has ended a romance of the couple who were known for their numerous public displays of affection. Seal and Heidi had every year renewed their wedding vows and also hosted a Halloween costume party which featured the Hollywood stars.
Heidi and Seal got separated in the month of January 2012 after more than six years of marriage. At that time, the couple released a joint statement which said that they had ‘ enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage and after much searching decided to part ways’.
The statement also added that they have the deepest respect for one another throughout their relationship and will continue to love each other very much but they have grown apart.
The couple have three biological children together and added that their separation was amicable. They also added that protecting the well being of their children remained their top priority and also appealed to respect their privacy.
