Hollywood FAQs: Seems like the X Factor USA show is under some crisis. After rumors that host Steve Jones will be leaving the show, it has been confirmed that he is definitely out of it. One of the spokespersons of Fox confirmed that judge Nicole Scherzinger is also out of the show and if that’s not all, Paula Abdul has also been given the boot.

There was a time when Simon Cowell lured Abdul on the show and proclaimed how much he missed the singer the second she left American Idol. Cowell said that he always loved working with Abdul and even though he considered her to be a pain at times. The show producer also said that he always clicked with her under any circumstances and that there was definitely chemistry to get along with her.
The channel has now informed the long time friend of Simon that she will not be needed for the next installment of the reality show. Paula came to know about the development on January 30, 2012 and only Simon and L.A. Reid remain on the show. Some of the sources from the production unit say that Simon aims to take the show in a different direction.
But in the future, there are chances that Paula might be brought in again and that the current situation might just be a negotiating one. It has also been reported that the judges have been asked to leave on an amiable decision. The news of Nicole and Paula leaving the show has shocked the fans as well as Nigel Lythgoe, who tweeted , “Shocked to see Simon has fired Paula Abdul, Nicole and Steve from the X-Factor.” It is now time to watch the game plan of Simon.
