American stand-up comedian and actor Bob Saget passed away at the age of 65 in Florida. The host of America’s Funniest Home Videos was found dead in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. The death of the actor was confirmed by the Orange County Sherriff’s Office who said that the actor was unresponsive when found. The actual cause of death is still not known.

Bob who was also known as Danny Tanner on the classic tele series Full House, was on a tour and had performed on January 8, 2022 at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He had also Tweeted on Sunday while thanking the ‘appreciative audience’. Mr. Saget added, “I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight,” I’m happily addicted again to this.” The actor in Full House had played the role of a widowed father who lived with his three daughters, his brother-in-law and his best friend. The show aired between 1987 and 1995. His co-stars included Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, Mary Kate and Ashley Oslen, who had all became household names.
It was in the year 1989 when Saget had become the first host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. Majority of his commentary on the videos was in line with the character that he played on Full House. Saget’s family too confirmed about his death and said that they were devastated on the news. The statement from the family mentioned that he loved performing live and loves his fans while bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
Mr. Saget is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and three daughters from his previous marriage Jennifer, Belle Saget, Lara Melanie Saget and Aubrey Saget. Bob Saget was born in May, 1956 in Philadelphia. He graduated from the Temple University in 1978 and soon found his way to the comedy clubs. Bob had always pursued comedy and excelled in what he did.
