Games of Thrones Season 7 premiers from July 16, 2017 and Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow is a busy man! The star of the HBO show is set to headline Giffoni International Film Festival 2017 in Italy from July 14 – 22. Sources reveal Kit Harrington is this years recipient of the Giffoni Experience Award during the festival. The Giffoni Film Festival is a popular teen-centered event that invites and draws attendants from 52 countries across the globe. Its also a launching pad for film critics, jurors and aspiring actors to network and gain professional skills. Film producers and actors also get a meet and greet platform to engage and inspire their young fans.
The presentation ceremony on July 19, 2017 will take place after a series of meetings between Kit and various groups of attendants at the festival. Kit is also planning to give a public lecture on his career and work. Apart from his role as Jon Snow, King of the North on Game of Thrones, Kit Harington also appears on BBC drama Gunpowder titled The life and Death of John F. Donovan. This award follows a trophy laden year in which Kit Harrington got an Emmy nomination for his role in Game of Thrones Season 6 last year.
Other celebrities who will be honored alongside Kit at Giffoni Film Festival 2017 include Bryan Cranston, Robert De Niro and Mark Ruffalo.
