After Xander Cage was reportedly killed in Bora Bora, he makes a return in XXX: Return Of Xander Cage. Yes, the title makes it so blatantly obvious and Vin Diesel has been doing the publicity rounds for the movie, even landing in India (see pictures below), the land of co-star Deepika Padukone, who also stars in the reboot to the hit action franchise.
When Diesel first took on the role of the extreme sports agent in 2002’s XXX who beats bad guys up and gets all the pretty women, he was winning over the bad guys. In the second instalment, State Of The Union (2005), he was not part of the film and was determined to have been killed, as told by Gibbons, played by Samuel L Jackson. XXX: Return Of Xander Cage over a decade later, is taking it from there, with the return of the action hero.
Xander Cage is in a race against time, pitched against Xiang to grab hold of a powerful weapon called Pandora. In his attempt to possess Pandora, he hires the help of a number of women of chutzpah, including Serena Unger and Adele Wolff, women who have the necessary skills to beat the odds. But Xander will be caught up in the corruption that plagues world governments. Will he be able to attain Pandora?

The movie is being released through Paramount Pictures and is set for a release date of January 5, 2017 in theatres worldwide.
Action hero Vin Diesel, who reprises the main character’s role Xander Cage or XXX in the film, made it to Mumbai, India to promote the movie along with his co-star, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. They arrived surrounded by ethnically dressed women at the Palladium Hotel in the city.
