Brooke Shields to continue in The Addams Family broadway musical

Hollywood FAQs: American actress, author and model Brooke Shields is currently enjoying her role in Broadway’s popularThe Addams Family. The actress is apparently enjoying her role so much that she has decided to extend her stay through the end of the year.

Brooke plays the role of Morticia Addams in the play and had decided to end her run on 30th October 2011. The actress said that she is having the time of her life while playing Morticia with the wonderful company of actors around her.

Shields added that Morticia is a very delicious role to play and the Addams Family is such an iconic piece of entertainment. This was the reason the actress could not resist the invitation to extend.

The producers Stuart Oken and Roy Furman had said that they were thrilled that Brooke has agreed to extend for two additional months. The producers also added that the actress is a wonderful Morticia and has proven to be a great boost for the show in all respects. The reports have said that the actress will exit the show on 31st December 2011. Shields has earlier worked in other Broadways like Wonderful town in which she had played the role of Ruth and Chicago for the role of Rovie Hart.
