Season 6 Finale of the Walking Dead left avid viewers at the edges of their couches in suspense. Negan had killed and the identity of the victim unrevealed in a military operation style.

On Sunday, 23rd October at 9/8c, Season 7 of  The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC followed by FOX that will air the new episode on 24th October at 9 pm to feed us where it left.

Season 7 is confirmed to take a short season break at the 8th episode and pick on from February next year.

The Walking Dead’s executive producer Greg Nicotero on the show’s seventh run, “The main thing about Season 7 is establishing that the world isn’t what everybody thinks it is, the world out there. At the end of Season 6, Rick was so confident. ‘We’re just going to knock out that outpost, we’re going to fuck these guys up before they fuck us up,’ and it ends with him going, ‘Heh, oh well, I had no idea. What I perceived as the world is not even close to what the reality of the world is,’ and Negan’s there to show him that.”

Flashback to Last Episode

The last episode of the Walking Dead released last April dubbed Last Day on Earth saw Rick Grimes captured together with ten other survivors including his son and dragged to Negan. Maggie caught along was expectant and in pain.

Rick’s group is punished by the terrifying Negan to avenge the killing of his troops. He kills one of them with a beating from a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat with the identity of the victim uncertain.

Fans were irritated by the cliffhanger demanding the creative team of the Walking Dead to make many apologies due to the outrage from its viewers.

Who was killed by Negan?

No real clue is given at the end of season 6 to know Negan’s victim. However, Digital Spy gives a nod to Glenn, and especially after a video of Maggie went viral on YouTube screaming Glenn!. The truth, however, did not unfold :/

Season 7 will start from the end of season 6, no jumping of time.

We hope to reveal the victim’s identity right from the beginning. Whoever died; the show is definitely not going to be the same. Relive the cliffhanger one more time…

What to expect from The Walking Dead Season 7?

Creators and producer of the Walking Dead have promised things going seriously weird with Negan and the change of the villain’s (Rick) behavior.
