Hollywood FAQs: Forbes Magazine has announced the Top ten list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood this 2011. The list has been topped by none other than Hollywood actresses Angelina Jolie and (surprise surprise!) Sarah Jessica Parker – thanks to the Sex and the City reruns.
The list has been prepared according to the annual income of the actresses between May 2010 and May 2011. Jolie (Salt, The Tourist) and Parker have claimed the top position in the list due to their annual income of $30 million.
The other actress who were also in the race for the top position were Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston (Bounty Hunter and Just Go With It) with an annual income of $28 m, while Julia Roberts completed the top five list with $20 m. Meanwhile, the other actresses to fill in the top 10 position are Kristen Stewart at the 6th position with an annual income of $20 m – thanks to the success of the Twilight series. The series also boosted Stewart’s movie career to new heights after the cult status she received as Bella in the Twilight Saga
Actress Katherine Heigl claimed the 7th position, while award-wining actresses Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock completed the list with $18 million and $15 million annual income respectively.
Forbes Magazine had released the 2011 annual top 10 list on July 5, 2011. The men’s list was published in September which had Johnny Depp on the top of the list with an annual income of $75.
