During his acceptance speech, the star said, “This is a spectacular honor for me. Not only for the education, but now I surpass Matt Damon.” The actor is one of the six recipients from the college. Other recipients of the degree include author and MIT Professor Junot Diaz, former Stanford University bacteriolost Stanley Falkow and Miami Dade College President Eduardo Padron.

Affleck’s latest movie, ‘Argo’ was the favourite of the Academy Awards 2013 and claimed the Best Picture trophy. The actor will now be playing a new role, that of a stay-at-home-dad, as his wife, actress Jennifer Garner focuses on a few new projects of her own. Earleir this month the filmmaker said, “[Jennifer’s] got a couple of movies coming up, so it’s going to be a little Mr. Mom action”. The actor went on to say that he is going to get back in the ring and see if he still has it.

With this much success achieved so far, Dr Ben Affleck most certainly has it.
