Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donate $1,50,000 for National Adoption Day

The most happening couple in Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have reportedly donated 1,50,000 dollars, to recognize National Adoption Day on Monday. The day marks and celebrates families who adopt children and also spreads awareness that there are around 1,00,000 children waiting to be adopted.

“I am truly thankful that Angelina and Brad understand the power of family – the kind of stable family that SOS holds as an essential part of healthy child development. Angelina and Brad know that children’s need for a family is universal,” the CEO of SOS Children’s village, Heather Paul said.

The funds were donated by the Jolie-Pitt foundation, to an organization that helps in providing loving and stable homes for the children who were deserted by their parents due to their inability to fulfill their needs. Brangelina, as they are fondly known, have adopted three children, Maddox, Zahara and Pax from the year March 2002. While Angelina has given birth to three children Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
