Yes! Hollywood’s annual awards season is officially in full swing. And you can say that while dancing to a happy night at the Golden Globe Awards 2017. Because the Ryan Gosling-Emma Stone modern musical La La Land won awards in ALL categories it was nominated for – a record-breaking 7 in total. The Golden Globes honor both motion pictures as well as TV, and this year did not disappoint. Other major winners for the night included The People v. O.J.: American Crime Story in several categories for television. The Night Manager also picked up a couple of awards, including A-lister Tom Hiddleston for his role. Game of Thrones may be a hit with audiences, and though it was nominated under two major categories, it did not win a single award this evening. Meryl Streep won this year’s prestigious Cecile B DeMille Award, and her speech is something that should be archived for posterity. She really is a Hollywood treasure.
